The first wine I tried on the list! If you’re looking for a wine with more depth then this is the place to come. Structured yet elegant, this Douro white blends Viosinho and Gouveio from steep Noval vineyards. A proportion of the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak (55% new), it’s fresh, floral, and full of character.
The 2023 harvest brought larger grapes, higher tannin, and lower alcohol—thanks to a mild winter and hot spring. Handpicked from August 17 to September 28, only the best lots were selected.
Expect citrus, wild herbs, and floral lift, wrapped in silky texture and long, mineral finish. No malolactic fermentation keeps it crisp
