I really enjoyed listening to it. You both came across very well, the interactions between you seemed very natural. And I like the mix of content. Im very impressed considering it's only the pilot episode. If you make more episodes, I will definitely be tuning in.
For me one thing I would really appreciate is a list of wines, grapes, regions, producers etc that you mention in the podcast. At least for the less common ones or ones you have trouble pronouncing 😁.
Maybe as a comment under the podcast with rough timestamps. I know this could be a major drag since you'll likely be posting to many platforms, but I think it would be very beneficial.
I thought this was captivating. I think the social media work you have done Luke allows us to know you more, so then listening to this brings it all together well.
There were snippets of both of your technical knowledge. I think it would be good to take listenners through a journey if that's possible ie some foundation learning to begin with, with then more advanced topics later in the year. An example would be: for the Grapes you mention link these back to more wider known parent grapes. Maybe for geographic areas you mention link that back to more known areas too. However later in the year be more advanced.
What did I take away from this most: 1) Will, 2) Greek wine, 3) I need to try Bordeux white.
Either way I'm looking forward to hearing the next episode.
Thanks for making this episode, it was engaging listening to you guys chat about wine. Its great that you’re trying to make the wine world more accessible, to that end I imagine that more chat about supermarket & online retail options would be welcomed generally as this is the contact point between the wine world and the ‘everyday person’.
Perhaps don’t mention the necrophilia nick-name moving forward? I know it’s just my personal opinion, but as a listener I thought it useful to say that I did almost click the stop button a couple of times at that point.
(Don’t get me wrong, it’s no biggie. I’m no prude and I have a few nicknames from my past that I enjoy telling mates about endlessly, especially from my time in the army, but I wouldn’t put them in a podcast on the worldwide web).
It’s commendable stuff, I look forward to learning more from your experiences inside the industry and enjoying opportunities to expand my own wine experiences and knowledge.
Consider me on board, I’ll be listening to the next podcast too!
First of all thank you for your feedback, very much appreciated!
We've had a few people say that they would like more chat/info about supermarket/online retailers wines and so we will definitely incorporate this going forward.
Yes, lesson learnt with the necrophilia content. It's a balance between being comfortable and natural but there is a line and we recognise that we were on the wrong side of it here.
Already plenty of lessons learnt so looking forward to recording the next one.

Hi John,
Thank you for your feedback - much appreciated.
Yes, I’m going to put more details of what we have spoken about under the podcast going forward.
There is an option to have an automatic timestamp so I will try to implement this as well.
Cheers for tuning in!
New episode landing soon.

Thank you for your feedback Chris, very helpful.
It's a great point - rattling off unknown regions etc and need to give more context.
Will is a great thing to take away!
We are hoping the next episode will be with you soon and will keep you updated.
Cheers,
